Viking Boy?

A quick paintover of an even quicker sketch! (see below) I actually much prefer the sketch. Even though the painting isnt finished, the sketch I feel is nicer.

ANyhoo!!

Quick fact - Ive named this wee guy Viking Boy - but did you know, Vikings didnt have horned helmets?? I wonder why it has become a common representation of them.

Ken :D

Just read your profile. You're working on Sylvain Chomet's new film? That's awesome! I absolutely LOVED Triplets of Belleville. One of my favourites in my collection!

Vikings make you look dangerous though. So it is a must for a fashion accessory!

Thats the thing about sketches, its like animation, I always feel the rough drawings more than the finished piece. Great stuff. (I will be in dundee in a couple of weeks for my test, nervous as hell)

Hey Ken.

Some fantastic stuff in your quick portfolio! The dragon progress below was cool to see. You can really capture a sense of humor in your work.
