Femme fatale...

Ello!

This was inspired by a shop poster I saw in town the other day - I liked the dress and thought it would be a cool costume for a character. So hey presto...a bond villain perhaps? This image suffers from the same fate as all my others - Im good at starting things but never finishing them. Maybe one day Ill tidy this up more and make it more finished. Doubt it.

I think this will be me last post before I head to Australia, so next post will be from down under! But Ill make sure I dont post it upside down... haha...ha...ughh...

Thanks to everyone for the kind words!

Ken :D

Hahahah post it up side down...actually you can create a character up side down...

Either way! Stunning dress (would love a dress like that...only less big at the shoulders...I would feel like a bird or something -_-'), stunning character! I like it!

Have a safe trip ^_^!

ahhh so many new posts!!!

I am LOVING all these paintings Ken! Such rich colors and cool looking characters. I really like this girl, she looks so badass :P really like how you handled the dress too, especially the sleeves. Also loving the 3rd character with the top hat, such a fun design.

I too start many paintings but have trouble finishing them so you arent alone haha.

Looking forward to more posts, have fun in Australia :)

THANK YOU!! Man! Have to say, when I saw that box delivered by that Detective dude of yours, I didn't know what to expect. But I love LOVE the purple pom poms with the orange and golden beads! Simply perfect ^_^! I will definitely use them and I shall be careful when I throw them in the air of course! Oh! Now I need to think of a matching cheer!

I'm doing good! Hope all is well with you too! Haha yes I kept blogging, I try to at least update the blog once a week, so far so good! How was Aussie? Hope you had an awesome Xmas and NY too! Mine was lot of fun even tho I was kinda sick haha. Happy 2010 and till next time!! Cya!

Hey Ken, this is a great piece. I really love the silhouette and the colors. That dress has an amazing shape! Maybe the head is a bit big, but this can also be a stylistic choice.
I have the same problem about finishing pieces- but also because they always seem to loose some of the livelyness.
Have a save trip to down-under,
Caudi

I'd be a slacker too with enjoyably beautiful summer weather. It's the best time to fix the tan man, not that you need to fix yours, buahahaha.
